Tundish Nozzle Dimensions and Bore Sizes

Tundish nozzle dimensions are more than the bore. The bore is what most searches name, because it is printed on the TDS: 10 mm through 16.5 mm, including the 0.5 mm steps.

The nozzle also has a length and an outer shape that must sit in the tundish well or the quick-change assembly. Two nozzles with the same bore can still fail to fit if the outside is different.

Send the drawing when you ask for a custom tundish nozzle. If you only have the old piece, measure the bore, the overall length and the largest outside diameter, then send those numbers with a photo. The drawing file itself goes by email or WhatsApp.
