What Is a Tundish Nozzle?
A tundish nozzle is the metering refractory that sits in the tundish and lets a controlled stream of steel leave for the mould. Buyers also call it a metering nozzle or, in plant language, the tundish nozzle for continuous casting.

The usual build is an alumina outer body with a zirconia insert at the bore. The outer body locates the piece. The insert takes the steel. NUOHENG does not mix those two data sheets: the outer body is reported as Al₂O₃ 75% typical, and the insert typical on the tundish nozzle TDS is ZrO₂ 96%.
The bore is the number a melt shop replaces. The TDS lists 10, 11, 12, 12.5, 13, 13.5, 14, 14.5, 15, 15.5, 16 and 16.5 mm. A different diameter is a drawing job, not a guess.
If you are comparing suppliers, ask for the drawing match, the bore, and which zirconia table they are quoting. The dedicated zirconia insert specification is a separate sheet from the typical insert line on the nozzle TDS.
